This one is for my spice lovers. It’s not overly spicy but it does have a kick. If you’re looking for something hearty and nutritious, this meal is perfect for you. I used a bit of honey to balance out the rest of the flavors and add a sweet and savory component to the stew.
Ingredients

- 2-3 tablespoon of oil
- 1-2 lb of dice pork sirloin
- 2 cups of beef broth
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of adobo seasoning
- 1 tablespoon of chipotle pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoon of ground black pepper
- 1 medium onion
- carrots
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 3-4 Japanese sweet potatoes
Instructions
Sauté your onions in a large pot with oil then add your diced sirloin. Add half of the spice mixture in to season the sirloin. Sauté until brown then pour into a bowl and put aside. Pour in your beef broth, minced garlic, carrots, and the rest of the spices. Add your honey and pour your bowl of sirloin back into the pot. Mix everything in and finally add your chopped potatoes.
Cover the pot and cook between low to medium heat for 40 to 45 minutes or until the potatoes are soft and tender. Be sure to stir every few minutes. Enjoy!
